Established in 2022, Mercera Cleaning keeps things simple: employ good people directly, treat them well, and turn up when we say we will.
We're a locally-run cleaning company, not a franchise or a call centre. We started because too many businesses and households were being let down by no-shows and rotating faces — so we built the opposite: directly-employed cleaners and an owner you can actually reach.
Every one of our cleaners is directly employed, not subcontracted. They're carefully vetted, reference-checked and uniformed. That matters to you because well-treated, settled staff deliver a better, more consistent clean.
We take insurance and health & safety seriously, and we'd rather prove it than boast about it. Everything we claim on this site is something we can put paperwork behind — ask and we'll send it.

Our cleaners are directly employed on PAYE — never subcontracted.
Public liability insurance is in place — certificate available on request.
Employers' liability insurance is in place — certificate available on request.
Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller.
If something isn't right, tell us within 24 hours and we return to put it right at no charge.
Commercial agreements run on a 30-day rolling basis — no long lock-in.
